So how inspiring should a hedge fund manager be? In light of the recent and ongoing debacles on Wall Street, and the mostly subpar performances of hedge funds, perhaps this book is necessary. Offering advice about how to boost morale amongst the traders and other staff. Some of the advice is fairly general. Like eliminating or at least reducing non-productive behaviours. Applicable in any workplace. There is other feel good stuff scattered throughout the book. It seems like the financial workplace has a need (probably more so right now) for an antidote to heavy stress.
