A Companion to the City

This Companion contains commissioned pieces from a deliberately broad range of established academics and new researchers. There are considerable attempts to include both western and non-western perspectives as well as more traditional established approaches and contemporary theorizations of the city. In combination with The Blackwell City Reader (2002) the full range of approaches to the city and key contributors to the field are covered.
